Team Bios

Ashel Eldrige

Native to Chicago, Ashel is currently an Oakland based artist and spiritual activist. He performs spoken word, rap and sings nationally with conscious Hip Hop, Dub, and Reggae bands. He is a renowned educator for Art in Action and a Green For All Fellow.

Aaron Ezra Ableman

An urban farmer, performance artist, multi-instrumentalist, acclaimed educator, graphic artist, deep thinker, and community organizer. He has presented at the Bioneers Conference, toured internationally, and founded two organizations dedicated to cultural and ecological awareness.

Alli Chagi-Starr

Alli Chagi-Starr is Green For All's Buisness Partnerships Manager and the Event Chair of the Dream Reborn Conference. She worked previously at Ella Baker Center, where she helped implement the Solutions Salon series and other large convenings. Such as the Social Equity track at the United Nations World Environment Day. Alli is also the co-founder of the 8-year old Art in Action Youth Leadership Program, which offers uplifting programs for young, urban artists. Her essays about innovative activism appear in Democratizing the Global Economy, Global Uprising, Voices from the WTO, The Political Edge and How to Stop the Next War Now.

Jahan Khalighi

A native of the Bay Area, with Iranian and Russian Jewish ancestry. Jahan is a spoken word arist who is honored to have performed his original poetry nationally at such places as The National Slam Poetry Competition, Bioneers, Easlen Institute, and the Yerba Buena Centerfor the Arts. Passionate about connecting the arts and ecology he is grateful to be a part of the CommuniTree Movement in supporting the vision of an "earth Democracy".

Montserrat Corsino

Montserrat Corsino is proud to be a contributor to the CommuniTree Movement through the media arts. She currently utilizes her love and skill of art to create psitive action in the community and world. Capturing life through the lens of a camera from a young age, she has always been interested in communicating preservation of the planet and its beings.

Robin Tala

Musician, Poet, Beatboxer extroardionare. Robin is the founder of Cyphertown, an Innovative Hip Hop collective dedicated to raising awareness and support for international human rights organizations.

Rashida Clending

Rashida AKA Audio Angel was destined to become a distinct voice of the worldwide dance music community. With over a decade in underground clubs, she's honored to have rocked stages like Irving Plaza NYC, The Warfield in SF and The Melkweg in Amsterdam. Rashida was thrilled to make her big screen debut as the Bus Driver, yelling at Will Smith in "The Persuit of Happyness". Rashida's voice is in commercials, cartoons, and video games. A natural born cheerleader and truth seeker, she loves encouraging her community.

Travis De Leon

Travis is the founding organizer of "Community Roots," a community arts and music event held monthly at the world renowned Ashkenaz in Berkeley and is also an incredible musician.
